Hovetra has fixed tippers and 30 separate bulk tanks at its disposal. Hovetra uses ‘compartmentalised trailers’ for the transport of various types of bulk goods. The advantage of Hovetra is that these containers can be parked on your own site for storage, or if pre-loading is required. Container transport Hovetra can provide the transport of all types of container. If the container holds loose pourable goods, we can tilt the container using our modern tilt chassis, suitable for 20ft, 30ft and 40ft containers. Storage and transfer Containers are stored if large(er) batches of containers have to be tilted. In this case, the containers are collected by us from the terminals at an earlier stage and stored at our own secured site. The advantage of this is that no delays occur on the date of delivery upon collection from the terminals. Loading and unloading bigbags and unloading 20ft, 30ft and 40ft containers in silo trucks are among the options for the transfer of batches. Hovetra has a heavy truck that can lift up to 50 tonnes, specially for the transfer of containers. Suction/exhaust trailer Whenever a silo has to be cleaned, or an unloaded batch is rejected, Hovetra can offer the solution using its suction/exhaust trailer. As this is a compartmentalised vehicle, it is suitable for various types of bulk goods. The system has an air displacement of 2,400 m3 p/h at a noise level of less than 70 decibels. The advantage of this suction/exhaust combination is that the silo can be emptied and then immediately filled using the same vehicle, thereby keeping standstill to a minimum. Any new loads can also then be taken on.
